Wallpaper Inspiration
Wallpaper designs are a fantastic way to gather inspiration for your home. From William Morris’ classic ‘Strawberry Thief’, to a more contemporary ‘Woodland Tree’ design, we are left with many ideas for colour and design. As our Delft ranges are often painted in the traditional ‘Delft blue’ colour, we try to provide other ranges that are either polychrome, or experiment with other gorgeous colours. We are also always trying to keep our eyes open for other colour ways that we think may take your fancy. Of course, even a lot of the Portuguese tile designs you see are painted in different shades of blue, so it’s easy to stick to that one colour. However, for us, the beauty of having tiles handmade to order, means that you, the client, can decide exactly what colour combinations to use, and how you would like the composition to be. The power is in your hands!
When clients come to us and ask about creating a specific glaze colour, or painting colour, to match their newly redecorated kitchen or bathrooms, we often ask for them to send us a sample or swatch of the walls, curtains, and worktops. This ensures that we can work to create a colour that is entirely bespoke to them, and for it to blend in beautifully in the home.
